Harold Lee Watson, born April 5, 1960, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, peacefully in his home. Born and raised in Portsmouth, Va., he was the son of the late Beatrice (Bea) Robinson and the late Harry Lee Watson, Sr. 

 

Harold attended school in Portsmouth, VA, at S.H.Clarke. He worked at Pet Milk Company for many years, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, and later worked for the City of Chesapeake until he retired.

 

He was a faithful member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church where he also served in the choir. Harold enjoyed life itself and loved to joke and laugh. He enjoyed visiting family and friends, pressure washing business, and fishing until he fell ill.

 

Harold is preceded in death by his wife-Alma Watson; his brother-Harry Lee Watson, Jr. and his sister-Theresa Taylor. 

 

He is survived by his siblings-James D. Stephens of Emporia,Va; Helen L. Gent (Kenneth) of Waldorf, Maryland; Harriett Watson, Keleather Toler (Tyrone), Lillian Cox (Jeff), Harvey Lee Watson and Idora Watson; three children-Tarlisaer Randall (James), Alexis Kenyetta, James Wilkins, Sr. and Terence Randall, who he raised as his own; four grandchildren-Elijah Kenyatta, James Wilkins, Jr., Jayden Wilkins and Tia Jennings; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends; and a devoted friend-Cynthia Carter.
