Gertrude Bowser, 99, departed this life on March 30, 2017. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017, 11 am at Greater Mt. Zion COGIC, 3100 Deep Creek Blvd., Portsmouth, VA 23704. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday, April 7th, from 12 Noon to 8 pm at the funeral home.
