On October 10, 2016, Ethel Mae White entered into eternal rest. She was born in Norfolk County on April 12, 1937. After 20 years of service , she retired from the Portsmouth Public School System. She is survived by her 4 daughters; Gwendolyn Cook, Margo Trotter, Karen Trotter, and Lisa Trotter 2 sons Jessie Trotter and Mark Trotter. She is predeceased by 1 son, Curtis Trotter. Also she leaves behind two loving brothers Emory Trotter and Ross Trotter. She is greatly loved by eleven grandchildren and seven great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. On October 17, 2016 @1:00 pm, a memorial celebration of her life will be at Grove Baptist Church. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
