Eloise (Weasie) Baysmore boarded the Train of life on October 4, 1924, via Junius L. Baysmore and Rosa Whedbee Baysmore. She made her final stop on the Train of Life on May 12, 2016, in Rocky Mount, NC surrounded by her loving family. She is now a First Class passenger on the elite Heaven Bound Express, to be reunited with family and friends waiting to welcome her to her new home. Her entire work career was spent at Virginia State University and the Virginia State University Federal Credit Union. She retired in 1991. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Cadwell Baysmore and Junius A. Baysmore; two sisters, Rosa L. Gatling and Mary B. Pipher. She is survived by one brother, Allison I. Baysmore (Waterbury, CT), seven nieces, Jacquelyn P. Owens (Leon) Chester, VA, Carolyn P. Anderson (Douglas) Lakewood Ranch, FL, Vanessa E. Clayton (Elvin) Trumbull, CT, Donna A. Gatling, Ocoee, FL, Karen L. Clark (Bobbie) Rocky Mount, NC, Rosa G. Williams, Newark, NJ, Cheryl A. Gatling, Waterbury, CT; two nephews, Anthony L. Gatling (Cloureen) Ellenton, FL, and Vincent A. Gatling, Jr. (Carla) Columbia, SC. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of great nieces, nephews, a great-great nephew, cousins and friends. The Family will receive family and friends at Corprew Funeral Home on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. She will be eulogized at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 728 Effingham Street on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Pastor LeRoy Hill, Jr., will be officiating.
