Deborah E. “Debbie” Cansler transitioned from this life to receive her crown on March 12, 2022, in Chesapeake, VA.  She was born February 10, 1973, in Elyria, Ohio, and was the daughter of Henry McNeal and Hilda Edwards.

 

She attended Manor High School in Portsmouth, VA, and graduated from North Central State in Mansfield, Ohio.  She also worked as a Logistics Clerk for California Cartage Company, LLC in Chesapeake, VA.

 

She is preceded in death by her son, Clinton Jayquan Cornick.

 

“Debbie” leaves to cherish her memory two daughters-Ebony Antoinette McNeal Abdullah of Portsmouth, VA and De’Sha Lachelle McNeal of Mansfield, OH; one son-Stephen Donyel Lee Cansler of Mansfield, OH; her parents-Hilda Edwards of Norfolk, VA and Henry McNeal of Chesapeake, VA; two sisters-Shconda Edwards and Yolanda Noel Richardson both of Ohio; one brother-Donyel Lee McNeal of Georgia; grandmother-Mrs. Zella Mae Watson of Georgia; five grandchildren-Dorion, Eiliyah, Zellahna, Kenyon and Kenya; her ex-husband, Ronald Cansler of Mansfield, OH; a special companion-Lester Jackson and daughter, Lastaria; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and god-children.
