Deborah Denise Miles departed this life February 18, 2024. She was born to the late Walter and Edna Mae Miles on September 28, 1958 in Portsmouth Virginia. She was preceded in death by her brother Kirk Miles. She was a graduate of Smithfield High School in 1979. At an earlier age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and join Antioch Baptist Church in Newport News VA.
She worked as an Insulator at Newport News Shipyard for over 20 years. She also worked providing armed security for several of Tidewater business. As an Entrepreneur she single handedly purchase and manage seven real estate properties in the Newport News and Hampton Virginia area.
She was an animal lover. She earn a black belt in karate and received many trophies and awards in the sport she loved.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her eight siblings Walter Miles Jr. (Joyce) of Norfolk Va., Retta A. Williams of Chesapeake VA., Sandra Mcknight (Michael) of Portsmouth VA., Diane Waller of West VA., Yvette Miles of Portsmouth VA., Evelyn C. Burns of Newport News VA., Douglas Miles (Avis) of Newport News VA., Pamela James of Fayetteville NC and Joseph Miles (Shawne) of Kenosha Wisconsin.
She also leaves to morn a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
