Clifton A. Phillips, known to many as “Tight,” was called to be with the Lord on Friday, June 18, 2021. Tight was a special spirt on this earth. He was a master barber with over 30 years of experience, as well as a son, a counselor, a brother, a father and a friend. He had a passion for music that was unmatchable. He was serious minded and intellectual, yet compassionate and humorous.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Roy Ann Dorsey and husband Samuel, his father (pre-deceased) Mr. Moses McNeil, siblings (pre deceased) Roy A. Alexander, Edward Alexander and wife Yvonne, and Eric Alexander and wife Ashley; his children – Maurice Lewis, Clifton Phillips Jr., and Kedar Brown, a special friend Sharon and a host of family and friends.
