Cleoma S. Elam entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 6, 2022. She was a born again Christian according to John 3:16:
“For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 52 years, Lewis J. Elam, Sr.; two sons-Lewis J. Elam, Jr. (Iris) and Tory J. Elam, Sr.; four grandchildren-Tory J. Elam, Jr., Justin D. Elam, Briyanna A. Elam and Aria M. Elam; two special sisters-Barbara Ferrell and Diana Irvin (Harry); her loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and the Brothers and Sisters in Christ at Mimosa Road Bible Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother-George Slight, Sr. and Carrie Slight; sisters-Valerie Griffin and Linda Riddick; and brother, George Slight, Jr.
