Carolyn D. Gray Johnson went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 31, 2017. Carolyn was born on June 13, 1958 to David and Rosa Gray in Portsmouth, VA. She was the owner of Carolyn’s Cleaning Service.
Carolyn was survived by: her husband Charles; daughter and best friend, Sharon; grandchildren, Aldale, RaVen, Alexus and Rahmon; brothers, David (Arneta) and Steven (Chanel); sister, Rosemary (Terrance), two special nieces, Carlethia and Teri; and a host of other family and friends.
She was a faithful member for over 22 years at First Church of Deliverance II in Portsmouth, VA. Carolyn enjoyed caring for others, cleaning, cooking, spending time with her church family and listening to gospel music.  She was also known for her sense of humor, laughter, and favorite saying, “Everything Is Going To Be Ok.”
A memorial service in honor of Carolyn’s life will be held at noon on August 12th at First Church of Deliverance II, 1403 Jefferson St., Portsmouth, Virginia  23704.
